Please view the options below for a cessation program near you. Cessation is most successful for those utilizing combination therapies.  For example, using Nicotine Replacement Therapy, or NRT (the patch, Chantix, etc.) and registering for a cessation class at one of Delaware County’s free locations would be a combination of therapies that yield success.

There are a number of organizations who are actively working towards tobacco prevention.

If unable to participate in a cessation class series or support group, we encourage you to call the Pennsylvania Free Quit Line: 1-800-QUIT-NOW (784-8669) / 1-855-DEJELO-YA (335-3569) for phone based quit coaching and NRT. 

The PA Free Quit Line is a free, evidence-based tobacco cessation service available to all Pennsylvanians.

SmokefreeTXT is a free (SMS) text message based tobacco cessation program. The program lasts 6-8 weeks, during which you will receive 3-5 messages per day with tips, advice, and encouragement to help you overcome the challenge and stay motivated.
